Scare-A-Con New England - Prelude

Just checked in at the Sheraton in Springfield, MA for Scare-A-Con New England.

I've been going to cons on and off since 1986. Thanks to Phil Perron and the Dark Discussions podcast, this is the first time I have ever been invited as a guest. To say I am excited wouldn't do it justice. However I am disappointed to find I was not greeted by a red carpet and rose petals which, if not exactly promised, was surely implied.

Phil and I will be manning a table this weekend, which will surely put this partnership to the test. We will be doing a pre-show Dark Discussions episode on the 1990 cult classic Frankenhooker, and holding out hope we can get interviews with cast members Patty Mullen and James Lorinz.

Later tonight, Phil will hopefully be participating in a podcasting panel with podcasters from Trick orTreat radio, The Dorkening, Scream Sisters and more. And if all goes well, I'll be stepping in for Sunday's panel.

But the main thing for me will be meeting Ms. Adrienne Barbeau. Rowr.
